FREESTANDING TEMPORARYFLOOD BARRIER is a freestandingtemporary flood barrier. It is designed specificallyfor the urban environment, with evensurfaces like asphalt streets, but it works aswell on lawns etc.SELF-ANCHORING - 0,5 METER HIGH is able to dam 50 cmof water and is self-anchoring. It is automaticallyballasted by the own weight of the floodwater. The higher the water rises, the harderthe barrier is pressed firm against the ground.Utilizing the weight of the water, the barrieritself doesn’t need to be heavy.LOW WEIGHT - EASY TO USEIndividual ”boxes” weigh only 6,1 kg each andthe barrier not more than 6.8 kg per meter. Thismakes it easy to use, and very fast. Two peoplecan build 200 linear metres of boxwall in anhour. A Boxwall is built by snapping the boxestogether. No tools are needed.FLEXIBLE - NO TOOLS ARE NEEDEDGradual curves are made by connecting theboxes at a slight angle, and for corners thereare specific corner boxes.The Boxwall can also be used during a flashflooding event to divert water away fromvulnerable areas.
